From the call for presenters:
The 6th Annual Alberta Restorative Justice conference is intended for professionals and volunteers working in the areas of restorative justice, victim services, youth justice, education, justice system, correctional services, as well as anyone interested in responding to the needs of those impacted by crime, wrongdoings and injustices.
Call For Presenters: The conference is an opportunity for participants to learn how restorative justice is practised and where it is practised in Alberta and elsewhere in Canada. This year the conference will focus on the different possibilities of applying restorative justice principles and creating programs in response to the diverse voices in communities.
You are invited to present a proposal for a 90-minute workshop that would address the theme of Diverse Voices: Communities Responding. Accepted presenters receive complimentary registration for the conference and out of town presenters will be provided with accommodations.
For more information on submitting a proposal, see the full call for presenters.
