Expert Seminar on Conferencing.

From the General Invitation from the European Forum for Restorative Justice:

Within the EU funded ‘conferencing project’, the European Forum for Restorative Justice and its partners are organising an expert meeting on the topic. The project consists of an exploratory study of conferencing practices, for both adult and young offenders and for both more and less serious crimes, as well as their further applicability within Europe.

What: Seminar
When: 14-16 September 2010
Where:  Leuven (Belgium)

 The seminar will explore three main topics:

  • To what extent has conferencing been developed internationally?
  • What are the processes used in and outcomes achieved by conferencing, and how do
    they compare with victim offender mediation (VOM)?
  • How could conferencing practices be developed further in Europe?
