Health trust looks to solve complaints

….Jane Melton, clinical director for social inclusion, said: “We have put an emphasis on resolving and closing the complaints, which is more favourable.”

Chief executive, Shaun Clee, said: “Every complaint is an important and a learning opportunity, but to put it into perspective, the trust has more than 10,000 cases open at a time.

“All organisations get things wrong and it is really important that when we do we acknowledge it, say sorry and give that person restorative justice.”
