John Braithwaite video introduction to restorative justice
Dec 02, 2009
John Braithwaite is a leader in restorative justice (and in many other fields). He teaches at Australian National University which has now posted an 18 minute video in which he explains the basic theories and applications of restorative justice.
It is well done, and is presented in segments, which means it can be used in whole or in part.

This video is a superb introduction and overview of restorative justice. I am using it for the culimating video in my course on restorative justice. Many will find this useful to help folks understand, in a nutshell, the essence of restorative justice. <br /> <br />John Braithwaite said <br />"My daughter Sari was the filmaker.... Sari has also been doing some fieldwork with me and has been credited on films on Timor and West Papua. They've been pretty successful so far. "Balibo" is now showing in the US I think. Better way to communicate with people than wrting books like her old man."
