Total healing comes from victim-offender models IN A WORKING context. In a grace-based context, there is no victim or offender. Giving grace given from God to "others" and ourselves (love others as you love yourself), removes the "otherness". In 1977, I drove under the influence of alcohol and ran over a baby in a stroller, killing him. His mother and I are now friends, and she said I am the best thing that ever happened to her.
