The inaugural annual lecture hosted by the Forgiveness Project will feature Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The event will include a panel discussion featuring speakers who have been involved in and suffered from violence.

Panel participants will include

  • Pat Magee -- the former IRA activist jailed for the Brighton bombing and subsequently released under the Good Friday Agreement.
  • Jo Berry -- the daughter of Sir Anthony Berry MP, who was killed in the Brighton Bombing
  • Mary Kayitesi Blewitt -- lost more than 50 members of her family in the Rwandan Genocide.
