About the Articles Library

Document Actions

The initial "floor" of this collection was an annotated bibliography prepared by Dr. Paul McCold for the Working Party on Restorative Justice of the Alliance of NGOs on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.  That bibliography was published as Restorative Justice: Annotated Bibliography in 1997.  The publisher is Criminal Justice Press, of Monsey, NY.  Criminal Justice Press holds the copyright to this publication, and gave Restorative Justice Online permission to use it in this library.  The book may be purchased at theReal Justice web site and from a number of online booksellers.

Since 1997 a large number of papers, articles and books have been written on restorative justice, and a number of those are available online.  We are regularly identifying new publications, annotating them, and adding them to this list.  In addition we have added links to full-text versions when they are available online, and information on how to order copies when we have that available.

In all instances we have done everything possible to abide by copyright laws.

If you have recommendations about articles to add to the collection, questions or comments about any documents that are included, or suggestions about the Articles Library, please contact us.
