The use of family group conferencing (FGC) in the case of a 1995 firebombing incident in Bucks County (Pa.) is presented as an example of a post-adjudicatory use of restorative justice. The justice system did not appear to acknowledge the victims and their needs in this case. The Australians who pioneered police and school conferencing happened to be available to conduct the conference. The advantages of FGC is explained. Training workshops have been held in Pennsylvania and more are scheduled.
