It is an opportunity for cognitive development, to build relationships and supportive external systems. Conferencing is an opportunity to build community out of wrongdoing. Conferencing provides an opportunity to find some meaning in the pain and suffering many of us will experience as a result of living; it is a chance to learn better coping skills and resilience in response to crime and wrongdoing.
