Stubbington, Maria (2001). Restorative justice in youth justice In Restorative justice – What’s it all about?, ed. by the Churches’ Criminal Justice Forum, 28-32. Paper presented at a conference hosted by the Churches’ Criminal Justice Forum. London: Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, Churches’ Criminal Justice Forum.

Maria Stubbington is a Reparation Officer for Crime Concern, Mediation and Reparation Service. Reparation was a new feature in the restructured youth justice system that came out of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998. Stubbington examines reparation and youth justice through an overview of the Service’s work, how it fits into youth criminal justice, and how its work is carried out. She includes information on volunteers, as well as statistics on referrals, types of interventions, and the feelings of victims and youth offenders who participated in mediation and reparation services.
