This is an extensive listing of victim offender mediation programs in the United States. It is an online version of a directory printed by the Office for Victims of Crime (a component of the Office for Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice). The online version is regularly updated. In fact, there is a form at the end of the printed and online versions for sending current program information to the Center. Hence, check the Web address listed above for the most current directory. Programs are alphabetized by state, then by city, and then by program name. The kinds of information provided for each program include the following, as available: name and type of organization; program name; services offered; contact information (personnel, address, telephone, fax, e-mail, Web site); types of referrals; the date of the program’s initiation; and the point in the justice process where mediation occurs.
