A student at Boulder High School, Sarah Studer has been trained as a facilitator in community group conferencing. She facilitates conferences at her high school, and she works with the school administration to develop and use more fully a restorative justice program at the school. In this article she describes her own training and experiences as a facilitator in the community and in the school, the development of a restorative justice program in her high school, and the effects of the program on how discipline is handled in the school and on the general culture in the school.
