The authors of this article report on the 5th International Conference on Restorative Justice: “Positioning Restorative Justice.â€? Organized by the International Network for Research on Restorative Justice Juveniles, the conference was held in Leuven, Belgium, September 16-19, 2001. Participants and presenters included scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in the field. The authors identify a number of the major topics, issues, and workshops at the conference. Additionally, the authors list several significant conclusions about restorative justice coming out of the conference deliberations.
