This report summarises the feedback received by the Ministry of Justice on draft principles of best practice for the use of restorative justice processes in the criminal courts. In May 2003, draft principles were sent to approximately 100 stakeholders, including restorative justice providers, members of the judiciary, government departments, and relevant non-government organisations such as Victim Support and the National Network of Stopping Violence Services. 40 submissions were received.
