In this article, Te Matahauariki Institute (out of the University of Waikato in New Zealand) and the Restorative Justice Trust (a regional restorative justice organization in New Zealand) announce their collaboration in a new research program. The aim of the program is to identify, describe, and compare traditional conflict resolution processes with restorative/transformative justice processes. The two organizations also plan to work together on a brief introductory restorative justice handbook and case studies of current programs.
