Umbreit – describing restorative justice as a “victim-centered response to crime‿ – provides his overview of restorative justice principles and practices. He lists various kinds of restorative justice policies and programs, and he indicates the worldwide scope of restorative justice. This document also contains a set of indicators or signposts to help people know when they are working toward restorative justice (these are based on work by Harry Mika and Howard Zehr).
