BE IT RESOLVED that this General Synod: 1. Affirm the principles of restorative justice which include: a)healing and reconciliation as opposed to punishment; b)accountability and responsibility as opposed to degradation and humiliation; c) taking seriously the needs of both victims and offenders; and d)building safer communities.
