Summary

Inayatullah, Sohail (2002). Scanning for Correctional Futures: Executive Summary. Report Prepared for the Department of Justice, Victoria - Office of the Correctional Services Commissioner. Downloaded 14 November 2005.

This report has multiple purposes: (1) to survey perspectives on Corrections as well as the broader Criminal Justice System of which Corrections is an integral part; (2) to develop a knowledge base of current trends and emerging issues from which the Office of Corrections Services Commissioner can develop long-term strategic directions; and (3) to provide a knowledge base to be used to develop divergent scenarios and a shared vision of the future of Corrections for the Victoria Department of Justice. In effect, this document serves as a ‘State of the Futures of Corrections’ Report. (excerpt)
