Wright, Martin (2005). Repairing the harm in society: the future direction of justice ? Paper for meeting in Ministry of Justice, Warsaw, October 2005, during the visit of an English group on an exchange under the auspices of the British Academy and the Polish Academy of Sciences.

What I should like to do is to suggest some further principles which I believe would improve the quality of restorative justice and therefore of relations between people in local communities and in society as a whole. I will group them under six main headings, and then suggest some conclusions: 1)Everyone to have access 􀂉 Maximum community involvement; 2)Minimum state intervention; 3)Treat everyone with respect; 4)Quality of service; 5)Prevention: who or what needs to change; 6) Conclusion: in which direction shall we go?
