He also reviews the proposed UN Basic Principles on the Use of Restorative Justice Programmes in Criminal Matters (based on the Working Partyxe2x80x99s draft work on standards or guidelines for countries); this commentary covers the document as a whole, each section of the document, and each principle. The conclusion outlines the next steps in international consideration of the proposed principles.
