It is challenge to discuss the link between victims’ rights and restorative justice – a central theme in the Dikê conference. Given this theme, the structure of the following text is almost self-evident. It consists of two parts: first I would like to focus on some victim-related topics. Then, I will deal with restorative justice in a European context. But the most important is indeed to make a connection between the first and the second. (excerpt)
