Summary

Poblet, Marta and Casanovas, Pompeu (2007). Micro-foundations of restorative justice: a general framework In Robert Mackay, Marko Bosnjak, Johann Deklerck, Christa Pelikan, Bas van Stokkom, and Martin Wright, ed., Images of Restorative Justice Theory. Frankfurt, Germany: Verlag fur Polizeiwissenschaft. Pp. 234-258.

"This chapter focuses on both the micro-foundations and the dynamics of restorative justice. The term of micro-foundations refers to the knowledge that links social modeling to individual, coordinated and collective human behaviour, and also to the situations and environments that human behaviours produce. The notion of dynamics also includes all the elements - roles, social patterns, and institutional structures - involved in the regular processes of restorative justice, as they are performed in a variety of countries and in different legal cultures."
