"In this concluding chapter we will not present again a comprehensive overview of overarching themes and quesitons, but we will simply raise several points that we believe deserve attention in order to enhance better policy-making. How can individuals, communities and states further contribute to the effective prevention and resolution of violent large-scale conflicts? What is the role of the international community in this context? What do restorative justice principles have to add to these prevention/resolution efforts? How can we, as researchers and academics, help victims raise their voice in a constructive way and, hence, hinder further escalation of wars and conflicts worldwide?" (abstract)
