Purpose
To promote the new and promising Restorative Juvenile Justice Model as a response to the current neo-retributionist trend and to specify its nature, scope and concrete applications within different cultural and legal contexts.
Objectives of the Congress
1. To reflect upon the concept of Restorative Juvenile Justice and to
formulate a critical analysis of its feasibility.
2. To examine the methodology and instrumentation of Restorative
Juvenile Justice.
3. To evaluate the situation of the victim in Restorative Juvenile Justice
and the need for his/her protection and reparations for damages.
4. To exchange experiences, lessons learned and good practices regarding
Restorative Juvenile Justice worldwide.

1. The nature of Restorative Juvenile Justice and experiences in
different countries.
