Minding the Gap—What are the Holes in Services for Intimate Abuse Victims and Offenders and How Can We Close Them?

Third in a series of panel discussions on the 'Justice of Recovery' sponsored by the New York University Center on Violence and Recovery. This panel focuses on the obvious gaps in services for intimate abuse victims and offenders and how communities and courts can work together to close them through restorative justice-based interventions. Restorative justice approaches “restore” those affected by a violent incident. This might include restoring what was lost or stolen, or restoring a sense of dignity or security.
