Website of the Month: Victim Offender Mediation Association.

VOMA is an international organization formed in the early 1980’s from an informal network of practitioners, researchers, and theorists in victim-offender mediation and restorative justice. VOMA’s members provide leadership and professional support in best practices, ethical guidelines, and peer support for victim-offender mediation practitioners within various criminal justice systems.

The VOMA website is a  resource base for parties interested in victim-offender mediation practices, research and professional contacts.

Restorative Justice Bibliography is a listing  list of books about restorative justice and mediation. Some of the entries provide links to purchase online.

Publications is a listing of the following links:

  • VOMA Connections - a quarterly newsletter,  one of the field's premier resources.  Members receive a print copy.
  • Articles - Articles (by scholars and practitioners) too long for publication in Connections.
  • VOMA Documents - Official documents of the VOMA Board. Ethics Guidelines, Strategic Plan, Conference archives .
  • Links lists websites according location (within or without North America), VOMA member agencies, government organizations, and purpose.
