The Balanced and Restorative Justice Project (BARJ) is a restorative justice training project funded by the US Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention and housed at Florida Atlantic University's Community Justice Institute. BARJ offers training, technical assistance, and other services for groups wanting to start restorative justice initiatives.

The website provides information about BARJ and the services provided. http://barjproject.org/

History is a brief summary of BARJ's beginnings.

What we do describes the four components of the program:  National Training, Strategic Technical Assistance, System Leadership and Development, and Community Stakeholder Support and Capacity Building.

Mission and Philosophy provides a brief mission statement and goes on to describe: the BARJ model, Restorative Justice background and principles, the Balanced Approach mission, and BARJ and systematic reform.

Trainings provides information on forthcoming events.

Papers provide a listing of papers and monographs available through BARJ. Some items are available full-text.
