Due to the significant amount of information contained in this site, it is recommend that new users initially browse the About CRInfo page, which divides the site into three main sections:   

1) System Overview  

The Introduction to CRInfo (under System Overview) explains the function and information provided by the menu options that are displayed on each page.  These options include:

  • Browse — Similar to Yahoo! and Google directories, this feature lets users browse all CRInfo resources using a nested keyword directory. 
  • News — CRInfo has over 150 links to online journals and newspapers featuring the latest articles on conflict resolution-related topics.
  • Search — By entering descriptive words into a text box, users can conduct full-text searches of every word indexed on every page of CRInfo.
  • Editions — Users can narrow their search by choosing a special edition of CRInfo that focuses on one of seven specific topics.
  • Projects — This option provides a list of the many Web-based programs supported by CRInfo that are designed to speed the dissemination of conflict resolution-related material.
  • Networking — This feature connects users to the network of people in the conflict field by providing information about jobs, conferences, profession associations, etc.
  • Education — For those interested in learning more about conflict resolution, CRInfo provides links to information on training education opportunities at all levels.
