CJS-White Paper: Justice For All presented to Parliament by the Secretary of State for the Home Department, the Lord Chancellor and the Attorney General by Command of her Majesty. This White Paper represents the Government’s view as to what should be done to modernise and improve the criminal justice system so its aims can be achieved more effectively. Several references are made to existing restorative justice schemes.  

 

Research Paper 99/40. London: House of Commons Library, Home Affairs Section. This research paper provides background information for the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Bill. At the time the paper was written, the Bill had completed its passage through the House of Lords and was due for debate in the House of Commons.
