COST (European Cooperation the field of Scientific and Technological Research) is an intergovernmental European framework for international cooperation between nationally funded research activities. COST consists of the exchange, analysis, and coordination of research. Anne Lemonne reports in this article on a COST Action on “Restorative justice developments in Europe.â€? Involving researchers from a number of European countries, this multi-year effort aims at enhancing and deepening knowledge on theoretical and practical aspects of restorative justice in Europe. More specifically, this Action program will investigate evaluative research on restorative justice practices, policy oriented research, and theoretical research.
