Williams, Brian (2006). Restorative Justice and Incarcerated Young Offenders. Youth Justice. 4(3):191-203.

Recent research on the use of, and attitudes towards, restorative justice practices in Young Offender Institutions, secure training centres and local authority secure units in England and Wales is reviewed. It shows that there is little such activity, largely due to over among those in positions of power to consider experimenting with more respectful ways of dealing with incarcerated young people and involving victims and the community more fully in restorative interventions.
