Since then I have met many other incarcerated people and their loved ones. In hearing their stories I have concluded that the families and other loved ones of incarcerated men and women are not only other victims of the crime but are also victims of punishment violence. And I would suggest that children are the primary victims. It is the purpose of this article to share some of the experiences which led me to these conclusions. (excerpt)
