Website of the Month: Justicia Restaurativa: Un camino para la transformación
Since 2004 an interdisciplinary research team from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Bogotá Colombia has worked to understand restorative justice and develop processes for implementing the concept in Colombia. This Spanish language website outlines the work of the research team and provides a lot of information on the development of restorative justice in Colombia.

Qué es describes restorative justice values and principles. It also discusses the ‘findings’ of the research group as to what restorative justice is and why it should be promoted. Through its research the team reached the conclusion that restorative justice is more than the meeting between victims and offenders. It is encompasses the healing—and at times rehabilitative—that can result from forgiveness.
Qué hacemos describes the work of the research group and the objectives that it seeks to achieve.
Cómo lo hacemos discusses the methodology used to study restorative justice. This includes the analysis and evaluation of a restorative justice process used by Prison Fellowship of Colombia.
Testimonios provides short statements of individuals who have participated in the Sycamore Tree Project® operated by the Prison Fellowship of Colombia. The stories includes lawyers, victims participating in the programme, prisoners from Bellavista prison in Medellín, Colombia.
Artículos is a listing of articles organized by theme: jurisprudence, legislation, restorative justice and communication, elements of restorative justice, and United Nations documents.
Revista provides news articles related to restorative justice and its implementation in Colombia.
