Important Idea
If “you” violate “my affections”, if you offend “my” life with a gesture that humiliates me, which damages “my” rights and more importantly “my” dignity, “my” sense of honour, and which degrades me, it is through the practice of mediation that we can exit that logic which dictates “my” sufferance and the negation of “my” self-worth only in a call for compensation and, whereas a crime has been committed, penalty.
