Important Idea:

'Victims have for too long been the forgotten parties in criminal justice.

I am interested in finding out whether restorative justice can offer them a more satisfying experience that will provide the kind of emotional as well as material restoration that they seek.

Heather Strang

Leading Edge. Heather is currently interested in empirical research directed at measuring the effectiveness of restorative justice interventions in terms of its crime reduction potential for offenders and, just as importantly, its potential for giving victims a role in the resolution of their case which will meet their needs and help them to achieve a sense of closure about the crime they have experienced.
